Dar Al Naim’s work demonstrates an impulsive desire to create. In her practice, culture, tradition, spiritual/natural awareness and an obsession with scale plays an immense role in the producing of artwork. Dar Al Naim’s eclectic background allows her western influenced messages to merge with her African influenced colour, pattern and shape. Dar Al Naim’s work gives birth to an international and global dialect, a new language, a visual language with which she communicates a message of peace and unity, along with a need to communicate her existence, as a human being and as a citizen of the world.
